Volume of housing commissioned within “Nurly zher” increased by 36.4%

In Kyzylorda region, the agrarian sector has maintained a steady growth trend in the volume of gross output and exports of agricultural products since the beginning of the year. It became known in the course of the expanded meeting of the Governor’s Office of the region following the results of socio-economic development for 9 months of 2017.

According to preliminary data, the region once again collected a record rice harvest - over half a million tons, the average yield - 55.3 centners per hectare.

During the reporting period, industrial enterprises of the region produced products worth 547.9 billion tenge. At the same time, by increasing the production of light, chemical industries and refined products, production growth in the manufacturing industry was ensured by 6.2% (products worth 78.2 billion tenge).

The volume of housing commissioned under the Nurly zher Program increased by 36.4 percent to 467,000 square meters. This year, 47 multi-storey houses are under construction in the region, of which 24 have been put into operation.

As reported in the Governor’s Office of the region, within the framework of the Industrialization Map in the region, 20 projects have been implemented, 16 of which have reached full production capacity. The volume of exported products by the state program of industrial-innovative development enterprises for the last year increased by 23% (8 months in 2017, 3.9 billion tenge), and the number of importing countries - from 8 to 11 (Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Denmark, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, China, Great Britain, Poland, USA, Taiwan).

It should be noted that representatives of 11 countries visited the region from the beginning of 2017 to discuss joint projects in the sphere of construction of industrial enterprises, processing of agricultural products, education, and so on.

It should be noted that on November 15-16, 2017 in the cities of Kyzylorda and Baikonur, the next international investment forum “Baikonur-Invest” will take place, designed to become a platform for new potential investors in the region.
