According to the company, since the beginning of the year, the growth of loading on all the main nomenclature cargoes amounted to 14.4%, including grain and flour by 17%. Grain and flour are sent mainly to the countries of Central Asia, Afghanistan, Russia and Iran. In general, export shipments increased by 14% compared to last year. In particular, cargo shipments to the railways of Kyrgyzstan (29%), China (24%) and Russia (15%) increased.
The volume of transport in the import message increased by 24% in comparison with the indicators of 2016. The highest growth was registered at border crossings with China (33%), Russia (23%), and Uzbekistan (16%).
There is also an increase in volume and transit traffic. Their main growth is marked in the direction of Chengdu - Dostyk - Lodz.
In addition, in eight months this year, the two-time growth of organized container trains by the China-Europe-China communication has been preserved. So, the transportation of goods in containers through Kazakhstan in the same direction as China-Europe increased by more than 1.5 times, also in the opposite direction - more than 2 times.
At the same time, the company implements a flexible tariff policy in the field of transit cargo transportation through the territory of Kazakhstan to attract additional cargo flows, favorable tariff conditions for transportation of ferrous metals, fertilizers, cotton, raw sugar, alumina, non-ferrous metals, fruit and vegetable products and petroleum products.
Also, the increase in transportation volumes was achieved through the introduction of comprehensive measures to increase labor productivity, optimize production processes, and the smooth functioning of the transport complex.
