Pavlodar region produces dry mare’s milk

Pavlodar region began producing dry koumiss (mare’s milk). The technology of converting the Kazakh national drink into powder was tested. This was reported in Governor’s Office.

"Altai" peasant farm in Lebyazhye district, in conjunction with the Pavlodar firm "Fresh Milk" LLP, purchased equipment for processing mare's milk into powder. The unique powder from Lebyazhye koumiss is planned to be supplied to the markets of Kazakhstan and abroad. Every day up to 20 kg of powder per day is produced", the message reads.

In September, in Hong Kong, at the contest among entrepreneurs of the world, koumiss powder took the first place in the category of environmentally friendly products. Powder koumiss has already become interested in Pavlodar medical institutions and rest homes. The dairy product is also planned to be exported to other countries.
