N.Kazakhstan rgn became leader in attracting investments in agriculture

North-Kazakhstan region became the leader in attracting investments in agriculture, it became known during the meeting of the Governor's Office headed by Governor of the region Kumar Aksakalov.

According to the regional Governor's Office, 206 billion tenge were invested in Kazakhstan in the agricultural sector. Of these, 53 billion tenge or 25 per cents accounted for North Kazakhstan region.

According to the results of social and economic development of North Kazakhstan region for 10 months of 2017, the gross regional product of the region in the first half-year amounted to 348.4 billion tenge or 101.3% to the previous year. The volume of industrial production for January-October of 2017 increased by 5.2% and amounted to 180 billion tenge. For 10 months the volume of agricultural production increased by 2.6% or 461.1 billion tenge.

In addition, the meeting discussed the preparations for the celebration of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the Governor's Office, within the framework of the celebration program for the region, 34 new socially significant establishments are planned to open. In general, in fact, from the Day of the First President, festive events will be launched, which will turn the agenda of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Astana and will end with events devoted to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Governor of the region noted that it is necessary to finalize the action plan and fill the content part, as well as hold meetings with the population. One of such events is the Open Day of the Governor's Office of North Kazakhstan Region.
