‘Breath, baby-Uralsk’ charity race held in Almaty

Charity race organized by the British-Kazakh Society in cooperation with the "Ayala" Fund was held on October 1 in Almaty.

Over 2 million tenge were collected within the charity race in Astana, Almaty and London organized by the British-Kazakh Society in cooperation with the "Ayala" Fund.

"All the money will be used for the project "Breathe, baby-Uralsk." According to the project, equipment for the intensive care unit of the regional perinatal center of Uralsk, which allows doctors to nurse premature babies will be procured," the statement reads.

Employees of companies and ordinary residents of Almaty, British Ambassador to Kazakhstan Carolyn Browne, members of the Almaty Marathon club and famous Kazakhstani athletes Serik Sapiev,  Zulfiya Chinshanlo and Ulan Ryskul took part in the event.
