“42 healthcare facilities were commissioned in South Kazakhstan region in 2013, 39 objects are under capital repair. In total, 66,4 billion tenge has been allocated for the healthcare facilities development in 2013, which is 22% higher compared to 2012,” a statement reads.
5,5 billion tenge has been allocated for the strengthening of the material and technical base of healthcare facilities. The medical equipment coverage increased from 25.3% to 56.5%.
Moreover, 14 thousand specialists attended advanced training courses over the past five years in South Kazakhstan region.
In general, 263 healthcare facilities were commissioned for the past five years.
