We hope the conference will provide a platform for a permanent and constructive dialogue, bringing together international, national, non-governmental organizations on topical issues of children's rights in accordance with international standards", - Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan Zagipa Balieva addressed the participants.
The international event brings together more than 1,300 participants from 30 countries, including children's ombudsmen from countries near and far abroad. The emphasis was on countries that have a positive experience in protecting the rights of children and willing to share their best practices.
The conference also included a presentation of the results of the multi-indicator survey in 2015 in Kazakhstan for many indicators (MICS) as an internationally recognized mechanism for monitoring the situation of children.
