Kazakhstan to export about 100 mln tons of oil by yearend (PHOTO)

Diversification of oil transport routes of Kazakhstan will allow to export about 100 million tons before the end of the year, Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbayev has said at the governmental hour in the Majilis.

"The work on diversification of oil transportation routes allowed to expand the technical possibilities of export. Realization of the project to increase the capacity of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) is ended, providing the expansion from 28 million tons to 67 million tons per year, including 52.5 million tons of crude oil intended for Kazakhstan’s oil. Mechanical completion is scheduled before the end of this year", K. Bozumbayev has said.

According to the Minister, so that the technical possibility of exporting countries will be about 100 million tons at the end of the year, which is around 52 million - CPC, Kazakhstan - China - 20 million tons, Atyrau - Samara - 18 million and through the seaport and the railway - 5 million tons .

The power is more to provide the necessary volume of oil exports next year.
