The speaker stressed the first official visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Kazakhstan, the press service of the Senate reported.
According to K. Tokayev, the upcoming summit will bring bilateral cooperation to a new level. The head of the Senate also called for the further strengthening of inter-parliamentary ties.
Israeli Ambassador informed on the preparations for signing a number of bilateral agreements during the visit of Benjamin Netanyahu. M. Brodsky also thanked the Speaker of the Senate for the articles in memory of Shimon Peres in Kazakhstan and Israeli media.
On the same day, K. Tokayev met with Japanese Ambassador Ichiro Kawabata. The interlocutors noted the great success of the official visit of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Japanwas held in early November. K. Tokayev believes that the negotiations in Tokyo led to concrete results.
The sides also discussed prospects of cooperation between the two states in the field of global disarmament and non-proliferation of nuclear weapons.
