According to the Majilis, the parties discussed issues related to bilateral relations, which in recent years have been developing, including combating extremism and terrorism.
Particular emphasis was placed on developing a new year of Kazakhstan as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, which is also connected with the issues of strengthening cooperation in Central Asia, to stabilize the situation in Afghanistan, promoting peace and security.
Speaking about the 25 th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan, the ambassador noted that the country has achieved a lot, especially in the field of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons. The diplomat also stressed the importance of the upcoming exhibition EXPO 2017.
Noting common interests, the two sides stressed the importance of partnership and enhanced cooperation and inter-parliamentary ties.
