Working since January 2009 Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools have developed their own technique of language learning, based on three areas. The first condition is a program aimed at developing of four types of speech activity and levels.

"The first is a training program specifically for each language - Kazakh, Russian and English. Here we began to move away from the translating and the grammatical approach of language learning. We approached the development of four main types of speech activity. They are speaking, listening, writing and reading. No way, we do not say that they will not study grammar. They will study and study now, but the program is designed to develop four types of speech activity and goes through the levels. From the first form a child begin to learn the language according to the levels. Of course, there was a very big question we had during the preparation of the program for Kazakh language. We did not have a frequency dictionary. When we talk about the basic of the language, it is desirable that the most frequently used words were in the same academic material, then the language should be enhanced and gradually move to the academic, legal, literary - all aspects of the life. The lack of the frequency dictionary created us great difficulties. In recent times there are two dictionaries. One was developed by the Institute of Linguistics named after A. Baitursynov and the second one was prepared by the linguists together with the programmers. Now we have these dictionaries and also work with them", the teacher said.

The second condition is a technique and technology of teaching. According to the Chairwoman of the Board, at school children should teach language to the approximate conditions of the life.

"Based on this, we must gradually develop the language, gradually moving on grammar, on the complication of language. We must give a child not only the literary texts, but also non-fiction texts and authentic texts. For example, when a person comes to an airport or train station, he should understand the ad that is given. This is the authentic text, which is often used", she informed.

At the same time K. Shamshidinova drew attention to the fact that the child should practice this knowledge. Practice is a study for children.

The third condition is the use of extra-curricular activities on language learning in a relaxed atmosphere.

"For example, we have a project "100 books". Every pupil of Nazarbayev Intellectual School should read 100 books for the years of the study. 60 books are in Kazakh language in the original, 20 books - in Russian and 20 books - in English. There is also a project "100 Kazakh songs". All our schools sing songs in Kazakh language, because when you sing, say, on the one hand, means education, patriotism and culture, on the other hand, it develops language", she said.

We have a very interesting club "TEDx the NIS" in the format "idea worth spreading". Children share the interesting idea in Kazakh, Russian and English languages. And some of the best are spread on the channel on YouTube. On the one hand, it allows a person to think, on the other - he speaks in different languages, and thirdly, it is a social project when he shares his positive experience. Fourthly, it can be safe to say his idea​​", K. Shamshidinova concluded.

We remind that according to the 79th step of the National Plan "100 concrete steps", the Ministry of Education and Science developed a road map of trilingual education for 2015-2020.
