Kazakhstan and Slovakia discussed investment coop in Bratislava

In Bratislava, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Czech Republic and Slovakia in combination Serzhan Abdykarimov met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic on Investments Peter Pellegrini, the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs.

During the meeting the sides discussed the current state and prospects of development of Kazakh-Slovak relations. Particular emphasis was placed on the need to give added momentum to two countries' trade and economic and investment cooperation, including the involvement of Slovak investments in the development of infrastructure projects on the territory of Kazakhstan.

In this context S.Abdykarimov spoke in detail about the favorable investment climate, industrial and economic potential of our country. He called on the business community in Slovakia to actively cooperate with Kazakhstan.

Discussing the application of Kazakhstan for non-permanent UN Security Council member for 2017-2018, the Kazakh diplomat explained the program priorities of our country and presented specific arguments in favor of the candidacy of Kazakhstan. Moreover, the source was acquainted in detail with other foreign policy initiatives of Kazakhstan, including President's Manifesto "The World. The XXI Century".

Deputy Prime Minister of Slovakia praised recognized Kazakhstan's achievements on the path of the political and social and economic modernization of our country's significant contribution to strengthening regional and international security. He expressed satisfaction with the development of friendly relations between two countries and reiterated the readiness of the Slovak side to the expansion of existing economic ties with Kazakhstan.
