N Kazakhstan: Kazakh content production increased by 89%

Petropavlovsk hosted Regional Forum of Entrepreneurs "Made in Kazakhstan" under the auspices of the National Movement "Kazakhstan 2050".

The forum was held together with the Governor’s office of the region and agency for development of local content “NADLoC”. The representatives of national companies and holdings, National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, government agencies, funds and development institutions, business entities participated in the event, the press service of the National Movement "Kazakhstan 2050" informed.

Opening the Forum, Governor of North Kazakhstan region Erik Sultanov said that the practice of holding forums on local content with the contracting of memoranda is resumed in the region. "Made in Kazakhstan" campaign has already started in the region. "Under "Nurly Zhol" we plan to provide the domestic producers with support. I am sure that the Forum will stimulate further development of domestic production, increase local content and will help to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and business ties", Governor of the region said.

"Business Roadmap - 2020" state program offers a series of measures and incentives to encourage domestic production. The support of the agricultural sector was strengthened last year, and accordingly the subsidies were increased twice - up to 16.7 billion tenge. "In addition, the state undertook the reimbursement of the cost to enterprises, carrying out technological modernization," Deputy Governor Yerlan Aukenov said.

He also paid attention to the fact that the region has developed an action plan in order to ensure the orders of small and medium enterprises. The total cost of the plan is around 10 billion tenge.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of "National Agency for the development of local content “NADLoC” JSC Gulmira Uakhitova told about the State program of industrial and innovative development and support instruments developed by the Kazakh Government.

The outcome of the event was the signing of 9 memoranduma.

The Forum was continued on the panel sessions where the participants discussed measures of state support of business entities and Kazakh and local content in the procurement of goods, works and services.
